“The One Place We Don’t Need To Strengthen” – New Transfer Link Doesn’t Find Favour With These Fans Either

|

With ongoing talk about money being free to spend come the January transfer window as manager Rafa Benitez looks to build on the fact we seem to have somewhat steadied the ship once more in the Premier League campaign of 2018/19, seemingly baseless transfer speculation is now coming at a pretty steady pace.

A trend amongst all the rumours so far have been a striker, for the obvious reasons, but we’ve also been linked with a glut of centre-halves and many fans believe that’s the last position we should now be looking to strengthen owing to the growing partnership between Fabian Schar and Federico Fernandez. We also have a number of others who better can be expected from in the future.

That hasn’t stopped Spanish outlet Cadenaser loosely linking us with Real Sociedad defender Diego Llorente – with a 30million Euro pricetag.

The price alone makes it a no-go for some fans, and even though the former Real Madrid youngster would be a good addition by most people’s standards, again the fact we are already covered was where most focused in their reactions to the link.
