A number of Newcastle United fans are in uproar following the latest Premier League announcement ahead of Monday evening’s televised tie with Burnley at Turf Moor.
The Match Officials for all the weekend’s action have now been confirmed and published as football refocuses on club action and not the games of varying importance during the November international break, and Newcastle return to proper footy with Manchester-born Anthony Taylor…yes him.
⚖️ MATCH OFFICIALS: Anthony Taylor will referee Monday's @premierleague game against @BurnleyOfficial.

Notwithstanding the fact he’s shown 61 yellow cards so far in 17 games in the season of 2018/19, so is incredibly card happy by most standards, he was, of course, the individual that was in charge of our 3-2 defeat to Manchester United back at the beginning of October and he wasn’t exactly competent.
It’s not unfair to say there are few referees fans would welcome, but as we are looking to make it three wins on the spin following on from victories over Watford and Bournemouth, but these fans certainly weren’t in support of the choice.

Does he have some deal with the @premierleague and @fa that he only gets to referee games within 50 mile of his home
