Newcastle are certainly going to be active this Deadline Day – though it remains to be seen how exactly we’re going to go about our business.
We’re linked with plenty of names right now and some seem closer than others, so it could be a rather tense day on Tyneside – as per usual.
Will Rafa get in who he wants? That remains to be seen, but it certainly looks as though one man that might well not be coming in is Anthony Limbombe:

It was claimed that he might be coming in to the club before the window shut for business but Keith Downie appears to have scuppered that deal before it’s ever really got going.
Downie is going to be one of the men to follow for us this Deadline Day and what he has to say will surely be clung onto by many of us.
It’s a shame that this one basically isn’t going to happen by the looks of it then.
