Newcastle United’s prospective £300m takeover will be announced soon, according to Sky Sports’ Pete Graves.
The northeast correspondent shared his thoughts on the matter to Twitter late on Monday evening where he responded to a supporter’s question asking for an update.
What should be the MAIN priority for the Magpies' new owners?
New manager
Squad overhaul
SJP expansion
Training ground improvements
Graves claimed that he firmly believes it’ll happen and that it “won’t be much longer.”
Given just how long the process has taken so far, he’s certainly is sticking his neck out on the line, he said:
Equally exhausted bud. The wait's been mad tough on all #nufc fans & also on the club employees who've no idea what their future looks like, in these already tough times! I still firmly believe it'll happen and also that it won't be much longer. X https://t.co/pMWV4sDSrF

The Premier League have been sat on the decision for around two months now. Granted, they have had a lot on their plate with getting league action back underway as well as trying to steer through a global pandemic.
However, it is time we all received the final outcome. It hasn’t been fair on us Magpies supporters whatsoever – the club appears to be rudderless and in limbo with Mike Ashley practically washing his hands clean of it already.
Money has been taken for season tickets despite numerous doubts ranging from whether the new season will be behind closed doors to whether there will be new ownership.
Richard Masters, you need to make that call as soon as possible.
