Lots of Newcastle United supporters have flocked to a recent update on current owner Mike Ashley.
According to the Mirror’s Simon Bird, the Sports Direct mogul has told the playing squad that he wants to sell and has agreed to a deal with Amanda Staveley’s Saudi consortium but the matter is firmly in the hands of the Premier League.
It’s also claimed that Ashley’s camp is growing concerned at the length of time this process has taken with doubts creeping in over whether or not it will actually be passed.
