Despite repeated denials from local newspapers that we are interested in signing Juventus midfielder Stefano Sturaro this summer, it seems the Italian media have other sources telling them that we are.
This time, it is newspaper Tuttosport who claim that we are one of five clubs who have enquired about signing the 25-year-old.
Leicester City, Crystal Palace, Wolves and West Ham are the four other teams who are said to be interested in the Italian international.
So far though, no bid has been forthcoming from Premier League teams with Sturaro’s €20m (£18m) putting off interested parties.
However, it does appear that there are two teams who are more likely to make a move than others. The Hammers and Wolves seem to be in the box seat. Hopefully, if one of these does make a move for the Italian, we can firmly put this rumour to bed once and for all.
