Newcastle fans have been upset with the club due to a lack of new players incoming, while others are being sold.
Ayoze Perez completed his move to Leicester and Sean Longstaff is expected to be sold to Manchester United, according to The Daily Express.
However, there is one player the supporters are happy to be sold, Joselu. Last month Marca reported the Spaniard had agreed to join Alaves. They claimed the La Liga club were willing to pay €2million (£1.7million).
That move now looks one-step closer, as the striker was spotted at the airport, but not with the rest of the squad, who are due to fly to China later in the week.
Since his time in England the most league goals he scored in one season is four, achieving that number twice for Stoke and once for the Magpies. The forward managed just two in the last campaign.
The Newcastle supporters were quick to make fun of the player for his lack of goals and took to Twitter to share their reactions to the possibility of the striker being move on.
One stated they hoped it was ‘a one-way ticket’ while another felt ‘finally, some good news’ if he leaves.
