Giorgian de Arrascaeta is a name that has pretty much come out of left field in terms of the club’s targets this summer. The Sun report that both us and Celtic are interested in the Cruzeiro midfielder.
However, the Uruguayan international is valued at £18m by his club, which probably would rule us out of the running for the playmaker.
Still, fans believe a move for de Arrascaeta should be considered, going by the result of a poll I conducted:

The Daily Telegraph reported yesterday evening that we had a loan bid rejected by West Brom for the Venezuelan, and it seems likely we’ll have to spend the £16.5m in order to trigger his release clause.
