A lot of Newcastle United fans have reacted angrily to a tweet from Richard Keys.
The BeIN Sports host put out a somewhat cryptic tweet that implied that we were in for some good news, and knowing Keys, this probably means Steve Bruce is going to sign a new contract!
There are not many people in the football industry who are hated on Tyneside more than Keys, and this is because of his constant defence of Mike Ashley and unnatural hatred for Rafa.
If he is implying a takeover, then I don’t think many Toon fans would believe him, and it is probably just to distract us from the January transfer window.
Do you believe a word Keys is saying?
Yes
No
The replies from some of our fellow fans are rather amusing, with many of them suggesting lots of ridiculous things that Keys could be alluding to.
See the best of the reaction below.
Getting the feeling from what I’m hearing that this could yet turn out to be a very good week for Newcastle fans. 👍🏼.

So when are we going to hear “this news” then? I’ll take it with a pinch of salt whatever it is.

Some Newcastle fans don’t believe anything that Keys says.
Oh I see Ashley has sent his media friends out to spread a takeover rumour about. Must be a transfer window coming up in a few weeks.
