“What a horrible bloke” – A lot of Newcastle United fans are delighted to hear that Neil Redfearn has resigned as the Newcastle Under-23s boss – after a disagreement with Liam Bramley.
Bramley was Redfearn’s assistant, and according to Craig Hope, of the Daily Mail, there had been rising tension – which all came to a head when Redfearn refused to travel with the squad to face Aston Villa last night.
Newcastle then confirmed that Redfearn had resigned but refused to explain why.
No surprise that the club is being secretive, but it now means that we must find our fourth Under-23s manager in the past two years.
Are you bothered that Redfearn has resigned?
Yes
No
Redfearn was an unpopular choice in the summer, and on the pitch, he was rather average winning four out of 11 games in the league, and we must now move on from this odd appointment.
A lot of Toon fans are buzzing Redfearn has gone.
