Robert Kenedy proved to be one of the highlights of last season. The Chelsea ace impressed with several terrific performances for us during the second-half of last season, and according to recent reports, we can look forward to another campaign with the talented Brazilian winger.
According to Sky Sports News, Kenedy has passed his medical with Newcastle ahead of a season-long loan deal from Chelsea. The 22-year-old contributed towards four league goals in 13 appearances for us last season, and it appears that he’s closing in on a return to St James’ Park.

Kenedy is a great signing for #NUFC. Going forward he’s superb but his work rate and want to get back and help out the defence is my fave thing about him. Don’t often see that in a winger with so much attacking ability.

Verdict:
As was adequately demonstrated last season, Kenedy is an incredibly talented player who is endowed with superb technical ability and tremendous skill. The Brazilian is an enormous threat in the final third of the pitch, and while he does need to display greater ruthlessness in front of goal, he will enhance the quality of our attack. Without question, he will be a great addition to the team.
