Plenty of Newcastle United fans have been asking a Magpies player the same question regarding the club’s latest takeover.
Paul Dummett took to Twitter as he was reacting to the Premier League clubs’ vote, which ruled in favour of players returning to training in small groups, which the 28-year-old posted how much he was looking forward to getting back on the training ground.
However, this was by far and away, the least of the St James’ Park faithful’s priorities.
Will Paul Dummett still be at Newcastle under the new owners?
Yes
No
The fans are anxiously awaiting to hear about any progress regarding Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) and their £300m purchase of the club. As of Tuesday, the Premier League are set to give us the green light to go through with the deal, but no official confirmation has been made.
Unsurprisingly, supporters all asked the same question regarding the events going on off the pitch on social media. One fan jokingly said that he was “asking for a friend”.
Howay, Paul….whats the crack?
