Newcastle fans have not had too much to shout about this season after securing just two points from their opening 10 Premier League matches and are still left waiting for their first victory of the season.
Rafael Benitez’s side certainly have a lot to do and it has been a difficult period for supporters, although they have found some joy in the struggles of a former player now plying his trade in Australia’s A-League.
Now 32, Steven Taylor is now playing for Wellington Phoneix after joining on a one-year deal in the summer and has since made two appearances for his side – although he caught the headlines for the wrong reasons recently.
Playing against Brisbane Roar, Taylor was guilty of a horror miss in Wellington’s goalless draw at the weekend and videos of his woes soon went very, with it not taking too much time for Newcastle fans to have their say.
