“Different gravy that lad” – A lot of Newcastle United fans are reminiscing over Yohan Cabaye before they face Manchester United on Sunday.
To prepare fans for the game, Newcastle posted a video of Cabaye’s superb free-kick against the Red Devils in 2012.
The Frenchman smashed in one of the most iconic goals at St James’ Park in recent years – when he pinged a 30-yard effort in off the bar in front of the Gallowgate end.
Back then, Newcastle were pushing for Europe, but now they are in the relegation zone and need a win on Sunday to kickstart their season and relieve some pressure from Steve Bruce.
In the meantime, these Newcastle fans are just remembering that brilliant goal.
