Newcastle’s Captain Fantastic, Kieran Trippier is among the players up for the Premier League’s Player Of The Month for November & December.
It was a Newcastle man in Miguel Almiron who received the award for October, and now it’s our Captain in the running against some strong competition.
There obviously weren’t many games played in November or December due to the World Cup, so the award has been rolled into one.
The return of the @premierleague means the return of Player of the Month 🙌

Erling Haaland seems to be a regular fixture in the running so it’s no surprise to see his name up there along with Casemiro and Marcus Rashford of Manchester United, Martin Odegaard and Bukayo Saka of Arsenal, Ben Mee of Brentford and Palhinha of Fulham.

Trippier led Newcastle to third in the table over November and December, leading a back-line that has now not conceded a goal in the last six games.
Taking the black and white glasses off for a second, the award is likely to go to either one of the Manchester United boys with Rashford discovering his goalscoring touch again and Casemiro starting to pull the strings in their midfield.
However, that’s not to say that the Toon Army can’t do what it usually does and take over every poll and give Kieran Trippier a clear majority in the court of public opinion, so click the link and cast your vote now.
