Newcastle United head into another tough Premier League clash this weekend with Watford the visitors to St James’ Park.
Manager Rafa Benitez’s side are sat in 19th place in the table, ahead of bottom-placed Huddersfield Town based on goal difference alone and we are obviously, without a win so far in the 2018/19 campaign.
Watford are in decent form sitting in seventh place at the moment and whilst some believe they are underrated in the top-flight, they are far from infallible but having not really turned up and performed in the previous ten games, few fans have expectations that we’ll turn up in this one.
Mohamed Diame gave an interesting interview this week to the Chronicle and in fairness to the 31-year-old there wasn’t actually anything wrong with what he said.
He covered teamwork, digging in and trying hard, keeping the right spirit and turning form around.
I think we pressed the nos tank. All that's left is a husk. He only had half a season left in him, probably shelvey too. It blows my mind it took them 2 seasons to find Gayles level. Its been 3 and they still dont realise shelvey's.

The guy has been poor all season like several of his teammates but nufc have nothing in reserve to take his place so he should keep quiet and do his talking on the pitch

I remember when personal glory was irrelevant in team sports. Wasn’t even an after thought. Now… lol

With Diame being a shadow of the player we’ve seen previously, the above comments show exactly what fans want from him and the team though – do your talking on the pitch.
