It seems very much like Newcastle are flying under the radar when it comes to the Premier League title race.
With Bet365 posting up a poll on their twitter account which has Newcastle United fans reeling. Poor @ToonPolls hit the roof.

While I get this is probably more about the popularity of these three teams rather than which one you believe will win the league, the fact that Newcastle weren’t included in the poll is a slap in the face. Unless their admin thinks that Newcastle would be everybody’s choice because they’re outside of the Sky Sports Six?
However, the big question around the media lately is whether Manchester United are in the title race. They’re behind us only on goal difference, so if Manchester United are in the title race, then so are we, but even in the media we’re being overlooked as if they’re all expecting this to come to an end.
Even The Chronicle have noticed the same running an article questioning if Patrick Vieira will be asked about Newcastle’s title credentials after being asked the same of Manchester United.
They go a step further and pose the point that it might suit Newcastle better to be underestimated, which is a fair point. If there are no expectations, we can spring a surprise. Leicester were underestimated right up until it was mathematically certain that they’d won the league, so maybe Newcastle can do the same?
Whatever happens come May, we can all agree that this has been one epic season and definitely one to remember. And we’re only half way through.
