Fans have been reacting on social media to Newcastle announcing their Premier League Asia Trophy squad.
However, the supporters were not congratulating the players that were included but used it to raise questions.
Some fans wanted to know why the list was posted on the official club Twitter page at 3am. With others wondering why the poster has one of the players’ names spell incorrectly.
And some wanted to know where the goals are going come from next season, as there is a lack of strikers in the squad. Then there were others pointing out that just a couple of days before they are due to fly to China, there is still no manager.
Despite selling players, Newcastle are the only team in the league yet to make a signing themselves.
Due to a lack of numbers within the squad, the club have decided to take Matt Longstaff, Owen Bailey, Kelland Watts, and Thomas Allan.
The announcement has not gone down well judging by the reactions of the fans, and some took to Twitter to voice their opinions.
One stated that ‘the club’s an utter joke’ whilst another added ‘there isn’t 10 goals in the whole squad’ it is so depleted.

Got to say, well done to the club for getting the signings of Lazaar, Colback, Aarons, Gayle and Murphy over the line early so they can take part in pre-season!
West Ham have only made 3 signings so far, well done Lee Charnley!#NUFC— Bad Photos At Gigs (@BadPhotosAtGigs) July 12, 2019
