With there being a lack of natural football content flushing in over the past week, the Newcastle admin is having to find another method for interaction.
Coronavirus has suspended all football within the UK, so with the season fully up in the air, the Twitter account needs to find one way of keeping fans interested.
The club have been drip-feeding out requested videos from fans over the weekend – and one of them includes a bit of a spectacular moment from Paul Dummett, where he manages to hoik a ball away from goal against Bournemouth when it seemed destined for the net.
Pandamonium erupts shortly afterwards as it looks like Mike Dean points towards the halfway line to signal a goal, but in true Dean-fashion, his arm signal was actually just representing a free-kick, fooling pretty much everyone in the stadium.
Does Paul Dummett get into your Newcastle team if everyone's fit
He's there for me
Nope, on the bench
Not even the bench
Nevertheless, it was a pretty incredible bit of defending from the Newcastle youngster, prompting many fans to reply to the video – as you can read below…

Just how long the club accounts can survive of archival footage remains to be seen, but the consumers can hardly complain as long as they keep finding it entertaining.
Dummett has had a really unlucky season. The 28-year-old featured heavily at the start of the season – playing 16 games, mainly as a left-sided centre back as part of a back five – but it was abruptly ended after an Achilles tendon rupture.
