With the coronavirus outbreak sweeping across the continent, there has been very little football for clubs’ Twitter admins to discuss.
However, no football doesn’t mean that there is no content – and with the current season being up in the air, the United admin has been digging into the archives to keep the fans entertained.
With Premier League football being delayed until at least April 30, the club’s Twitter account has been taking requests for goals in which fans want to see.
The latest one posted was from a cult figure at St James’ Park in Yohan Cabaye. In this game, he smashes home a free-kick from what must be at least 30 metres out, with it smashing the underside of the crossbar and ricocheting into the back of the net.
Unsurprisingly, fans absolutely love to see the Frenchman’s free-kick against Manchester United, in a game which will remind supporters of their emphatic 3-0 victory on the day.
Here is what supporters had to say below…
Yohan Kebab, what a player.

Why did we sell cabaye now? Painful to see him in colours of a different club

Plenty of fans will be gutted that this season has come to a halt, even though it hasn’t been the most exciting of campaigns.
Nevertheless, the Toon are likely to stay in the Premier League, and more excitingly, have qualified for their first Quarter Final of the FA Cup since 2006, so they will be eager to get that game on.
