Newcastle United fans should know by now not to listen to Richard Keys after he dropped another hint into the takeover saga.
Earlier in the week, the beIN Sports anchor claimed that the £300m deal would go through on Friday (today) and suggested that it was because of the influence from the English government.
What are your thoughts on the takeover now, four months on?

Although, Keys has backtracked from his above statement, revealing that we “shouldn’t now expect an announcement today” given the fresh developments that have recently emerged.

The 63-year-old is referring to Saudi Arabia’s ban on the company he works for – beIN are the MENA region’s official broadcasters and now they are unable to operate in the country.
It means that there is no legal way for its people to watch the Premier League, perhaps a strange move given the nation’s public investment fund is trying to purchase the Magpies.
It’s almost as if it’s the perfect excuse for Keysey as he like many doesn’t actually know what’s going on in the process.
We’ve heard this and that plenty of times throughout the past four months, no one truly knows when the announcement will come but the PL themselves.
This saga will by no means be over today.
