Loads of Newcastle United fans have flocked to a recent post from Sky Sports reporter Keith Downie this week.
The Magpies journalist relayed comments from Premier League CEO Richard Masters on Tuesday afternoon and it’s sparked a mixed reaction from the St James’ Park faithful.

Masters was grilled in front of a virtual House of Commons earlier that morning in which he was pressed with questions over the Saudi takeover of Newcastle.
He gave very little away but finally did hint towards an outcome, claiming that he’d like to see the process concluded “shortly”.

No!
When that might be still very much remains to be seen given it has already taken three months to get to this point alone.
Some supporters have grown frustrated with an imminent timeframe being put on matters as they’ve heard it all throughout this process whilst others think it could nearly be time to open those cans.
