Newcastle Set To Spend Big To Bring Duo To The Club

|

The words Newcastle and spending big in the transfer window haven’t exactly sat cosily together in recent times.

The uneasy nature of the ownership of the club has left many a support frustrated at the apparent, lack of ambition shown by the club, even more so when we have a manager, in Rafael Benitez, who deserves to be treated better than he has been done.

But, is the tide finally about to turn?

According to the news source, the Telegraph, Newcastle United could be about to spend the sum of £35 million to bring to the club, on a permanent basis, two players.

The two players in question being the Chelsea player, Kenedy, who had a more than respectable loan spell with the club last season and the Red Bull Salzburg midfield playmaker Valon Berisha, a player who is a Kosovan international.

Our referenced source infers that the combined fee to wrap up the two deals would be around the £35 million mark.

However, forgive me for not waxing lyrical about the proposed deal, I’ve seen far too many pieces of speculation come and go without a deal being finalised.

But, I’ll willingly jump for joy if the above does get finalised.

How about you?

Can you see the deals being finalised?
