Newcastle Outcast Set To Depart After Personal Terms Are Agreed – Report

|

Henri Saivet has agreed terms with Bursaspor about a move to the Turkish club, according to Olay.

The Senegalese international was reportedly in the stands as his prospective new team lost 2-1 against Fenerbahce in the Super Lig fixture on Saturday.

Bursaspor have until the end of the month to complete the deal with the transfer window for most European countries closing on August 31st.

The 27-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan in Turkey at Sivasspor and has been looking for a new club with the midfielder not part of Rafa Benitez’s first-team plans.

Since joining us two and a half years ago, Saivet has made just eight appearances. He had been signed when Steve McClaren was still manager and struggled to make any real impact when he was given a rare outing.

Olay reports that the Senegalese midfielder was favoured ahead of a deal for Istanbul Basaksehir’s Marcio Mossoro, and it looks like the transfer could happen very soon.
