Plenty of Newcastle United fans have been heaping praise on midfielder Allan Saint-Maximin after his latest post on social media.
The 23-year-old has been in impressive form for the Magpies during the current campaign, with three goals and four assists in his first 21 appearances.
His attitude has been heavily praised, and this latest example showcases that he is switched on and understands our club.
Is Saint-Maximin the Premier League's best dribbler?
Yes
No
Responding to a post on Twitter, Saint-Maximin said that he does not try to humiliate anyone on the pitch and has great respect towards West Ham United’s Pablo Zabaleta.
The Frenchman was reacting to a tweet from The Athletic’s Chris Waugh after he tipped him to win our Young Player of the Year award, referencing his performance against the Hammers as one of his highlights.
With this in mind, supporters drooled over what Saint-Maximin had to say and made their feelings clear on social media. One fan says that he “loves him on and off the pitch”, while another simply described him as a “legend”.
This is exactly why @asaintmaximin is the model footballer of his age and how nice of a person he is! Much love Maxi mate, if this takeover happens i pray that you stay here at #NUFC
