The flying French winger thanked the fans for spending so much money and time to go to East London to watch the Toon beat West Ham.
The 22-year-old at the end of the game came over and gave his shirt to a young lad in the crowd and was serenaded by 3,000 joyous Newcastle supporters.
He is already a fan-favourite on Tyneside because of his willingness to interact with fans and the way he has embraced Newcastle.
For someone who has supposed attitude problems, we have seen nothing but hard work and determination from him.

On Saturday, he terrorised Pablo Zabaleta, and another day could have had a hat-trick.
This is the next thing that we want from Saint-Maximin now end product – as against the Hammers he missed two one-on-ones and then had a third effort spectacularly saved by Roberto.
Either way, though, these Newcastle fans love Saint-Maximin.
