I’d say it’s now highly unlikely that Newcastle United fans aren’t aware of Academy graduate Elias Sorensen.
The 19-year-old Danish striker is having another productive season when it comes to his development and as well as his exploits for our Under 23 side in the Premier League 2 competition, in the EFL Trophy against League One and Two opposition his record in 2018/19 reads three games and three goals.
He’s already come in for plenty of praise from the fans based on his exploits so far and calls for him to be given a shot by manager Rafa Benitez in the first-team set-up certainly aren’t new, however, a report in the Chronicle yesterday tipped him for a loan spell in January and whilst few were against greater experience for the lad that’s lovingly tagged the ‘Danish Shearer’, the potential destination was certainly open for debate.
The vast majority of fans on social media who commented believe we should be looking above the National League and Hartlepool United.
Surely he’s not suited for the conference. Seen lads go there and hardly get a kick, end up coming back 2 years behind.

It would ruin him……he would get kicked from pillar to post……surely we can get him a better loan deal than the national league….how about a stint in Scottish Prem ? It has worked for us before
