Newcastle fans on Twitter have got a long season ahead of them supporting their side, as they look set to be embroiled in a relegation battle until May, however, things would be made easier for the Geordies if they bring in a goalscorer in January, something that’s being touted.
Newcastle United and West Ham United are both interested in the Genk striker Mbwana Samatta.

The BBC’s Ian Dennis has claimed on Twitter that both Newcastle United and West ham United are interested in 26-year-old Genk striker Mbwana Samatta. The Tanzanian striker recently bagged against Liverpool in the Champions League, and his goalscoring record is certainly impressive.
So far this season, Samatta has already bagged himself an impressive eight goals this season, including two in four games in the Champions League (Transfermarkt), and now it sounds like he could be set to make his way to the Premier League, with Newcastle fans desperate to bring him in.
Do you want to sign Mbwana Samatta in January?
