Newcastle United are being linked with another January transfer window capture, defender Nicolas Tagliafico.
The 26-year-old left-back currently plays for Dutch giants Ajax and he only made the £4million move to the Amsterdam ArenA last January from Argentine side Independiente. He does have eleven international caps to his name for his country and he’s made 31 appearances for Ajax following his arrival and it seems his performances have at least got him onto the rumour mill as Calciomercato have already linked him with a move to Arsenal.
Now it seems Football Oranje believe that we, and manager Rafa Benitez, are taking a closer look at him.
He is said to carry a price tag of around £8million though but it’s also suggested we were looking at him back during the last summer transfer window but were unable to agree terms.
Again it’s not a piece of transfer speculation that has been overly believed, at least by these fans anyway.
Looking forward to seeing how he does for Arsenal.
