“Did anyone think it would be any different” – A lot of Newcastle United fans believe that their club will be relegated this season – after the Toon put in an appalling performance in a 0-0 draw with Brighton & Hove Albion.
Craig Hope, from the Daily Mail, has claimed that the Toon already look destined to be relegated – as he cannot see any positives or signs that the Magpies’ fortunes will turn around.
A lot of Toon fans are adamant that it is Steve Bruce’s fault and he needs to leave the club for Newcastle to have any chance of survival.
Certainly, the display on Saturday was insipid, and the Toon will need to improve as they prepare to take on Leicester City, Manchester United, and Chelsea.
