Three Clubs Vying To Land Newcastle Wide Man Before Window Shuts

|

Rangers, Hull City and AEK Athens are all interested in signing Rolando Aarons before the end of the month, according to the Mirror journalist Adrian Kajumba.

The 22-year-old is way down the pecking order at the club with four other players ahead of him for a place on the wing.

He spent the second half last season out on loan in Italy with Hellas Verona, but the winger didn’t score a goal or provide an assist in his 11 appearances for the Serie A side.

Aarons is deemed surplus to requirements and the Mirror say Rafa Benitez is willing to allow the midfielder to leave on another loan spell before the transfer window shuts.

Clubs in Scotland and in a number of countries on the continent can still sign players up until August 31st, while EFL teams are also able to snap up players on a temporary basis.

The former England youth international’s last first team game for us was the 1-0 home defeat to Manchester City back in December last year.
