Danny Rose has only just come through the door at Newcastle, and now he is already being linked to another move.

According to reports from The Sun, the unwanted Spurs man is being eyed by French giants PSG as they look to find a replacement for Layvin Kurzawa.

The story states that scouts from the Ligue 1 champions will be watching him throughout his spell on Tyneside, and could make a move for him once the season has been completed.

Last season’s Champions League finalist Rose has only been able to muster 12 league appearances for Spurs this campaign, and after a falling out of favour with Jose Mourinho, it was clear that there was no space in the squad for him.

Now, in an attempt to secure his place within England’s Euro 2020 squad, the defender has joined Steve Bruce’s side for the rest of the season.

As the story states, Rose had previously said how he would not be leaving Spurs before his contract runs out, despite joining the Magpies on loan.

Do you think Danny Rose is past his best?

Not sure yet, let him get up and running

Yes, but that's to be expected at 29

Nope, he still has some room to grow

Obviously, that could all very well change if a club such as PSG come in for him, as surely he is unlikely to find a move as appetising as that given he is now 29-years-old.

Whether or not this move happens could be dependant on how good his form is while at Newcastle. Obviously, if he is the standout player, then the Paris-based club might feel as if he is worth taking a punt on. But at the same time, they will still have to compete with Newcastle – and there’s nothing that suggests Rose will necessarily be keen for a move abroad.

This interest does act as a reminder to the calibre of player that Rose is. For the club to have him after a fairly turbulent past six months is really good business, and if all goes to plan, they will be hoping that the player will want to stay where he currently is.
