A lot of Newcastle United fans are talking about Sean Longstaff’s first and only goal for Newcastle so far.
The Toon midfielder turned 22 yesterday, and to celebrate, the club posted a video of his strike against Burnley.
This has led to a lot of Newcastle fans discussing both Longstaff’s goal and also the Toon actually winning games and scoring goals.
Sean will be banned for the next three games after a high tackle on Ruben Neves in the Magpies’ 1-1 draw with Wolves.
Isaac Hayden will likely replace him, but Newcastle could have done with his composure on the ball.
For now, though, these Newcastle fans want to reflect on Longstaff’s goal.
Many Toon fans are reminiscing over this moment both for Longstaff and the fact that we got men into the box.
See the best of the reaction below.
Happy birthday to @seanlongstaff97, who turns 2⃣2⃣ today! 🎈

I haven’t seen that many men in the box in open play for a long time.
Does that look like a team that was just trying to hold onto their lead Brucie????
