Many Newcastle United are not impressed with the latest reports regarding the club’s ongoing takeover talks.
Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) agreed with Mike Ashley to buy the Tyneside club for £300m in April and the St James’ Park faithful are anxiously waiting on the Premier League to give the green light on the deal.
However, the consortium are currently waiting for an investigation by the World Trade Organisation (WTO) to be completed regarding PIF’s history regarding their involvement in beoutQ and illegal streaming of sports events in the Middle East.
Are you now worried NUFC's takeover will collapse?
Yes, 100%
No, be patient
Ashley is a deeply despised figure at Newcastle due to the many poor decisions he has made over the years, adding to the anxiety of the transaction going through.
With this in mind, supporters feared the worst and concluded by themselves that the takeover would not be taking place. One fan said that fans need to get used to the fact that it isn’t going ahead, while another preached for him to be put out of his misery.
Coin will land on its side and the takeover will rumble on and on

Quite worrying Forbes claiming it’s a 50/50 decision. Forbes is well respected.
