Newcastle The First To Take On Creed As Michael B Jordan Takes Over Bournemouth

|

AFC Bournemouth have become the latest Premier League club to be the subject of a takeover after American, Bill Foley has led a consortium to a £100m deal.

Maxim Demin sold his 100% stake to the Black Knight Football Club consortium led by Bill Foley who will take over as Chairman with immediate effect. As reported by The Chronicle, the consortium also includes a number of limited partners including a 50.1% interest for Cannae Holdings Inc., and certain other investors many of whom invested in the Vegas Golden Knights.

Celebrities Michael B. Jordan is also a part of the takeover in a minority group, which means in several year’s time if Wrexham climbs the leagues as planned, or if a cup tie falls favourably, we could have The Human Torch vs The Green Lantern in the battle of the flops taking place on a football pitch.

In the more immediate, and likely future, however, is the fact that Bournemouth’s first opponents under their new leadership will be the Carabao Cup tie at St James’ Park on 20th December.

The Cherries could well be buoyed by the news and step up their game, although it took Newcastle a few games to get their new owner bounce, so we can hope that that’ll be the case for Bournemouth too.
