Newcastle Target Hands In Transfer Request

|

Belgian midfielder, Leandro Trossard has said he wants to leave Brighton and Hove Albion which will have Newcastle and several other clubs on alert.

Sky Sports have reported that Trossard is training alone at Brighton after a falling out with boss, Roberto De Zebri after being left out of the squad for the cup game against Liverpool.

Trossard has now not kicked a ball for the Seagulls since New Year’s Eve’s 4-2 defeat to Arsenal and has insisted he will not sign a new deal at the Amex.

Newcastle have been linked the Trossard several times and fans have been very upbeat on the idea of a move for the Belgian, as there is no doubting his talent. He’s a big reason why Brighton are doing so well in the Premier League this season.

However, there are now huge question marks over his attitude and that’s something that will put Eddie Howe off. He has a harmonious group at the moment and the last thing he wants to do is upset the balance by bringing in someone prone to a wobbler.

Would You Still Take A Punt On Trossard?

Definitely

No. No stinking attitudes here.

Trossard’s agent put out a lengthy statement saying that all of the issues leading up to this point are from the management side and that Trossard has been ignored since returning from Qatar. However, De Zebri said in his press conference that he’s spoken to Trossard and told him that his attitude is unacceptable.

I imagine that somewhere in the middle lies the truth, but falling out with the manager is never a good look and one that could see Howe turn his back on a potential deal.
