Plenty of Newcastle United fans have been left seething with the Premier League chief Richard Masters following his latest remarks regarding the club’s ongoing takeover talks.
Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) agreed a £300m purchase of the Tyneside club from the retail tycoon Mike Ashley back in April, and Tuesday’s WTO report did not hold them responsible for beoutQ, which was a pirate television platform in the Middle East.
Bryan Swanson shared footage on Twitter from Sky News’ Martha Kelner’s interview with Masters about the takeover and refused to answer any questions regarding the sale of the Magpies.

This means that the St James’ Park are, once again, being kept in the dark over all of the club’s most pressing issues, which is typically what has been going on under the ownership of Sports Direct’s majority shareholder.
With the supporters quickly losing patience, they let rip at Masters on social media, telling him exactly what they thought of him. One fan said that he is “nearly as bad as Ashley” in terms of keeping fans in the dark”, while another described him as an “absolute joke”.
