Miggy v Jack – Clash of the Titans

Sunday will see Miguel Almiron coming up against Jack Grealish for the first time since the latter’s unnecessary jab at the former when celebrating Man City’s title win.

Wouldn’t it just be poetic to see Miggy running circles around  Grealish? Tying him knots the entire game leaving the England international crying into his curtains at full time and regretting ever having spoken Alimron’s name.

Or maybe Miggy will seek his revenge another way and just lifts Grealish into Level 7 thirty seconds after kick off, and just walks down the tunnel with his trademark beaming smile as the ref fumbles around in his pocket for the red card.

Either of those would be hilarious, although very unlikely. In reality, if Miggy (who probably couldn’t care what Grealish said) plays his game and racks up a goal or an assist, that should be enough to see Grealish slink off into the dark corners of the 90’s and think about his actions.

Since Grealish joined City for £100m he’s played very similar to Almiron if we’re being honest – lots of running and little outcome, so for him to saddle up on his high horse was a bit rich. Whatever it was, it’s going to add an extra sprinkle of spice to Sunday’s game and I am here for it, I just hope the Toon Army don’t let Grealish forget it, and I’m sure they won’t.
