Newcastle did not hang about in the January transfer window, adding three players with Champions League experience to their ranks on short term deals.
Nabil Bentaleb, Danny Rose and Valentino Lazaro all came through the door within the window, and they all started for the club on their trip to Selhurst Park on the weekend.
Unfortunately, all three failed to have great games, and Lazaro marked his full debut with a red card by fouling Wilfried Zaha when he was clean through on goal in pretty much the last play of the game.
Would you like to see Lazaro stay beyond this season?

We'll see
The Chronicle’s Lee Ryder did the site’s match ratings for their match in South London, and it didn’t seem like he was impressed with any of the three who played.
Ryder scored Lazaro a 3; Rose a 5; and Nabil Bentaleb 6.
Today, the Chronicle’s Twitter account asked fans whether or not they think the signings have gone well, to which there was a pretty negative response.
Here are some of the replies…

Haven’t improved the team one iota, in fact if anything they’ve made the team worse..

Unfit, no better than what we have and not needed as much as the team needed a forward.

Mercenaries who don’t want to be here and don’t give a toss. Struggling to understand why they are getting starts in front of players like Ritchie, Hayden and Yedlin who are heart and soul players.

All3of them aren’t any good! How is bentaleb getting in the side ahead of matty longstaff and Hayden? He’s walked into the team having not played for 9month in a first team! Then Danny rose who’s best days are behind him gets in ahead of Ritchie! Lazaro is a liability also. Poor

With Palace winning on the weekend, they have leapfrogged Steve Bruce, with the Toon falling to 14th in the Premier League. Thankfully, with a seven-point buffer and just 11 games to go, they should have enough about them.
That being said, not many will argue that it was a shocking performance against Palace, with many improvements needed.
Id send all 3 back now. None of them are interested and having had quite a tight squad mentality and a closeness with fans we have the rose incident on the train and the bentaleb incident at the end of palace away, of course the players and club deny both incidents we all know what we seen
get rid of the 3 of them and if needs be promote youth
send them back now
