Jordan just shut it!

|

Simon Jordan makes a ridiculous Mike Ashley Derby County claim that Newcastle United fans may definitely disagree with!

Seems Jordan, another failed Football club chairman can’t shut up talking about Newcastle,  a club that seems to live rent-free in his head.

Having had 14 years of poor stewardship from Mike Ashley and very little investment in the whole of that time, along with one media and communication mistake after another, to hear that Simon Jordan is again shining his mate’s posterior with his tongue is galling!

In the Chronicle Live article, Simon Jordan expects former Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley to invest in Derby County if he is given the keys to Pride Park. Recent reports have linked the unpopular ex-Magpies chief with a move to save the cash-strapped Rams – who were recently relegated to League One.

The S****s D****t tycoon has been urged to save Derby by administrators after a proposed takeover by US-based business Chris Kirchner collapsed. Ashley is renowned for driving a hard bargain – Newcastle fans know all too well – and The Telegraph claim he is “determined” to re-enter football less than a full year after selling United for £300million to Saudi back PIF Consortium.

Ashley is well known for asset stripping and using stadia to flog his budget brand-filled stores “Who’s name shall not be mentioned” by any self-respecting Geordie. Ashley, you may remember, also ventured to try and get into Glasgow Rangers but was given short change north of the border too.

All we would say to Derby County supporters is to be very careful what you wish for; Ashley will fill your stadium with SD signage and false promises whilst devouring the soul of your club.

Would Rooney get on with Ashley? Another great point to ponder.

We’d love to hear your thoughts, please leave comments below.
