Plenty of Newcastle United fans have had their say on whether or not they believe Florian Grillistch would be a good signing.
The Hoffenheim midfielder is claimed to be wanted by the Magpies, and allegedly has a release clause of €25m (£21.01m) according to reports in Sport Bild (via Sport Witness).
It is said that they face some stiff competition, though, with Champions League side Tottenham Hotspur reportedly having a look at him, as well as some other big clubs in Inter Milan, Arsenal and Southampton.
However, considering the last player they bought from Hoffenheim for a large sum of money didn’t go quite to plan – or at least hasn’t, thus far – many fans seem pessimistic about signing another player from that club.
Would Florian Grillitsch be a good signing?
No
Unsure
Yes
Sport Bild claims that despite the Austrian signing a contract extension in the summer, he is still willing to leave the club in the summer for a bigger move, and could be willing to make his mind up before the time Euro 2020 comes around.
Here are what some fans are saying about his signing…
