Many Newcastle United fans have been reacting to reports linking the club with Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha.
The Sun previously reported that we will look to make the Ivorian one of our top targets if the proposed takeover goes through.
The Magpies are currently undergoing a major transition and a huge step in our history. Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund could become the club’s majority shareholders (80%) along with Amanda Staveley’s PCP Capital Partners (10%) and the Reuben brothers (10%) if the £300m deal is confirmed and approved by the Premier League.

Zaha has been a superstar for Palace over the years and has scored 56 goals and provided 70 assists in 353 appearances for the South London side, in what is his second stint at the club.
With this in mind, supporters were not convinced and made their feelings clear on social media. One fan said that he plays like Christian Atsu, while various other fans simply stated “no thanks”.

Not worth anything close to 60million. He is like Atsu. He can’t pass, can’t score. In fact i would play atsu over him. At least atsu is not selfish. Let him go to man United. Much better players around
