“Now do it for us lad” – A lot of Newcastle United fans are delighted to see Miguel Almiron score his first goal for his country.
Almiron was brought on as a substitute with his team 2-0 down but six minutes later Paraguay were level – as he connected with a brilliant cross to send a header into the net.
This was Almiron’s first goal in ten months, and many supporters are hoping it will be a big boost to his confidence.

Other Newcastle supporters were perhaps a bit harsher and were more relieved than happy.
This could prove to be an important moment in Almiron’s career in England because he has not scored for Newcastle yet and this should be a big confidence boost.
