Lots of Newcastle United fans have been criticising the club’s plans with Tottenham Hotspur defender Danny Rose.
The 29-year-old is currently on loan at Tyneside after making the move from north London in January and admittedly has not had the best of starts to his Magpies stint, with an average match rating of 6.49 from 12 Premier League appearances, as per Whoscored.
Sky Sports reported that we are currently in talks with the Spurs ace to extend his loan stay further, adding that it will not include any “purchase option or obligation”.

Rose’s contract expires at the end of this month and the season is set to get started on the provisional date of June 17th after a temporary suspension.
Because of this, supporters were not impressed with the club’s plans with Rose and made their feelings clear on social media. Two fans described him as a “waste of time” and a “poor and lazy” individual, who believe he should return to Spurs with his tail between his legs.
