Despite Newcastle’s win over Blackburn Rovers in the FA Cup, it’s fair to say that a lot of Magpies are not happy with the state of proceedings at the club at present.
We’ree struggling in the league, we’re struggling on the transfer front, and in truth, there’s not much to be pleased about right now. Sure, we’re into the next round of the FA Cup – but Blackburn took us until the closing stages of a two-game tie before we were actually able to defeat them. That’s still disappointing, all told.
Unsurprisingly, then, anything that the club do that doesn’t revolve around a major transfer or something on that level isn’t generating much happiness among fans, and that’s been highlighted by a recent post on the official Newcastle Twitter page.
