Newcastle United are struggling for form at the start of the Premier League season after failing to win any of their opening ten matches.
The pressure on Rafael Benitez has increased significantly and the need for further additions in January has become clear, with the Magpies failing to find consistency in the final third after scoring just six times this season.
Unsurprisingly, a new striker is the top priority for Newcastle in the New Year once again and speculation suggestions that Eintracht Frankfurt’s Sebastian Haller has emerged as the number one priority – and some fans believe that means he definitely won’t be arriving.
After years of disappointment in the transfer market, it has been difficult for fans to be more positive and they believe the chances of signing Haller are extremely slim – especially as the Bundesliga side will demand a high price.
We have gathered some of the best reactions below.

Played 7 (2 sub) – Scored 6 and assisted 5.
I’m sure Frankfurt will happily sell him to us on the cheap. They will want £25m plus— Samuel Brown (@sammyb9999ipad1) October 30, 2018
The only problem will be paying actual money
