Again it seems Sir John Hall can’t go a day without finding time to criticise the current club set up. The man who actually initiated the current mess, by selling his shares to Mike Ashley despite actually never meeting the bloke, feels that the over paid players are to blame the most.

Quite what this has to do with Hall is beyond me – he lost that ability to comment on the club when he sold us down the river for his talent of silver to a bloke who doesn’t know his arse from his elbow. All we know is that Wynyard is probably trying to cover himself by finding someone other than Ashley to blame. Hall said:

“Many of our players are on massive salaries, and the players have to take a long, hard look at themselves. They are morally bound to re-negotiate their contracts. If they care about Newcastle United as much as they say they do, they will see is the right and proper thing to do.

With the squad we had, we should have stayed up. The players badly under-performed.”
