In the last match Newcastle saw a winning run ended when Wolves won two-nil at St James’ Park last Saturday, however in another St James’ meeting between the sides a League Cup win was secured in midweek.

Tomorrow a meeting between two of the three sides relegated from the Premier League last season will see Aston Villa playing host to Newcastle in the late kick-off.

Newcastle made a poor start to the season but have since recovered well with Aston Villa finding consistency something hard to come across in the opening stages of this season, with home advantage Villa will be under greater pressure but Rafa Benitez will be after a Championship reaction to the defeat last weekend.

What will happen in this one though?
