As January looms, the latest name linked with the ‘in door’ at SJP is Portuguese winger Ukra. Having watched Ukra in action for Portugal Under 21s against England last week, Chris Hughton has seen a number of links for the lad emerge in the UK press.
Ukra is actually a Porto player but is spending the season on loan at Olhanense. Speaking regarding a move, he said:
‘It’s always motivating that big clubs are interested but I’ll have to wait on Porto to make a decision over my future. I have a contract until June 2011, but any offer which came along would be analysed and studied.’
