There’s A Whiff Of Rebellion In The Air At Our Club

|

All does not appear to be well at Newcastle United Football Club!

With the support not particularly overwhelmed by the clubs activity in the 2018 summer transfer window, it is being reported that another area of unrest has come to the attention of the media.

According to the news source, the BBC, there appears to be a lack of co-operation between the players and the media, a dispute that our referenced source is suggesting is down to a dispute with the club over bonuses.

On Monday, the players failed to report for what are apparently labelled as the ‘walk-up-shot’ features which are used, by the TV companies, when the starting line-ups are revealed ahead of the kick-off.

Also, it appears, the players have refused to do post-match interviews after two friendly fixtures.

With the first game of the 2018 / 2019 Premier League season taking place this Saturday when Tottenham Hotspur visit St James Park, the players are clearly hoping these actions will result in their bonus dispute being discussed and resolved.

However, here at Vital Newcastle United, we can’t help feeling that this is another indication of the disarray the club finds itself in at a time when everything should be set for what should be a promising campaign, instead, the disharmony threatens to derail our season before it even starts!
